Loco Gringo in Wittenberg

My cat's food looks more appetizing - € 15 for the bin. We like to support the restaurants on site during the Corona period - but it won't work that way. Then you better order where it tastes good. Highly recommended: El Toro steak house

Fillet steak ok. Otherwise ready-to-cook potatoes and ready-made sauce. At 25 € that doesn't work at all. Service staff tried hard. Obvious regulars were greeted with a handshake. Corona sends its regards.

Great ambience, food tastes even if not cheap. Little things that could still be changed. Air conditioning not on despite high temperatures. Waitress a bit inflexible, everything seemed a bit overwhelmed. Recommend it anyway!

3 stars as I noticed the will of the staff. The ambience inside and out is great. Potatoes are too well-done and therefore soft. The liver and steak were also a little too long on the grill and very little seasoned. The chicken in the nachos is very good as long as everything is warm. The chicken is very dry when cooled a little. I will definitely make one more attempt within the next 6 months hoping for improvement. I wish the restaurant a long success.

Very cozy, delicious food, very friendly service, great gastronomy

Reserved for 2 people, agreed outside. When we came we were asked to take a seat inside until something was free outside. At this point, however, there were still two tables available outside! Minutes later, guests who had obviously not made a reservation took their seats there. When asked about this, the service staff said that there were five people and of course they were allowed to sit outside. 2 people who have reserved outside (!) And bring less money than 5 people who have not reserved are obviously worth less. This is not a way of treating guests! It can just happen that two people sit down at a table for four people. A restaurateur has to live with that. We couldn't live with that and left the restaurant. We ate elsewhere, outside, spontaneously, for two at a table for four! Go then.

Was super disappointed:( water costed 5.80€ and was somehow less of a disappointment than the apperol spritz we ordered and the nachos with jalapeños. The apperol spritz had no apperol and tasted like bubbly water with a dash or orange juice (looked like it too), there was no hint of even any alcohol in the cocktail . The nachos had 2 slices of jalapeños on them and the nachos were smashed to bits on the plate and the nachos were cheese flavored nachos ( tasted like the cheap version of the dorito nacho cheese chips), we couldn’t even force ourselves to get close to finishing the nachos and after just tried to leave as quickly as possible to not get more disappointed . Highly don’t recommend .

Simply not good, the aperol spritz was basically orange juice with some mineral water, the nachos were flavored and crumbled with basically no toppings.

Beautiful restaurant .. reopening !!!! I have never eaten such a perfect steak 👍👍 Top team ... we felt at home .. Many thanks We'll be back😊
